Marangu village is famous in moshi, due to one of the route to climb the mount Kilimanjaro is found on this village, though the Marangu village has a lot to discover in terms of cultural tourism, thus this tour in marangu will give you time to discover the Ndoro waterfalls one the biggest water falls in the marangu village. Also see the coffee processing where you will experience the whole process of coffee production from bean to cup.

You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and transferred to Marangu, its about 45 minutes drive from Moshi Town. Upon arrival at Marangu you will be met by a local farmer who will be your guide for the day. After a short briefing about your activities for the day, you will have a walk to one of the small local coffee farms. Your tour starts with berry picking in the farm where you will be taught how the locals pick the coffee berries. You will then be shown where the locals peel and dry the coffee seeds. Afterwards you will roast the dried coffee beans then grind them to into fine powder. You will then boil the coffee and have a taste of your own brewed coffee. After the tour we will move to the Ndoro waterfall, one of the biggest waterfall in Marangu. This beautiful waterfall is found at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro surrounded by very lush landscape where it’s hidden. Ndoro waterfall is known for its unique of zigzag trekking nature to the bottom of the waterfall and the amount of water it plunge into the gorge. We wil take a short drive and after reaching the area, there will be hiking and descending through the stunning green landscape, for approximately one hour you will reach a breathtaking waterfall. Once you’re in a waterfall you will get a chance to explore the area, jump in the water to swim and having the lunch in a beautiful view and weather, and if the weather is favorable a short walk through the water to see the spring. And before the sun set walk balk to the vehicle drive back to Moshi town with a drop off at your hotel where the tour ends.

ITINERARY
You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning and transferred to the Olpopongi Maasai Village. It is roughly a 1 and a half hour drive from Moshi town. While at the village you will be given a tour of the village and museum to get a better understanding of Maasai culture and tradition. You will also go on a short walking safari and learn about Maasai hunting techniques and their natural medicines. A traditional lunch will be prepared for you in the afternoon. After your tour of the village you will be transferred back to your hotel in Moshi

Also known as Kikuletwa hot spring is located at Rundugai village 10km from Boma town. The village itself is located on lowland of Mount Kilimanjaro where you can view both Mount Kilimanjaro and mount Meru at one point. These are underground springs with warm water, the water forms a clear and clean pond which is ideal for swimming. The water is very clean and clear that you can see the bottom well all time. This hot spring is among the best natural water springs found in the Kilimanjaro region though here there’s not much to explore thus just be ready to spend the day swimming in the kikuletwa natural hot water spring,kikuletwa. Day 1- you will be picked up in your hotel in Arusha/Moshi take a drive to small town called Boma ng’ombe, then will take dust road and drive for about 30 minutes through the local villages. Once approaching the hot spring you will also see some onions farms. Arrive at the kikuletwa hot spring, have your swimming gears on and start enjoying most of the time here spent on swimming and rest on the mattress have nap then get back swimming till your body says yes it’s enough then get in the vehicle start the drive back to hotel where the tour ends.
